For people

What DO We DO?

  • Help people feel seen and experience real connection - because belonging, vulnerability and authenticity change everything.

  • Equip students, athletes, and leaders with the mindset and emotional tools to navigate pressure and setbacks.

  • Support individuals to step into their power and purpose - so they create impact beyond achievement.

Three pillars of Being Human Co - People, Perspective and Power.

As founder of Being Human Co, Kat brings a rare combination of educational expertise, leadership experience and powerful lived perspective to the audiences she works with.

A Health and Physical Education teacher with over 15 years’ experience, Kat holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (First Class Honours, RMIT University) and spent nine years as Head of Sport at an all girls secondary college. Alongside her work in education, she has coached junior and senior sport for more than 25 years, supporting young people and teams in high performance environments.

Kat understands the real pressures young people, educators and leaders navigate every day.

Her perspective is further informed by surviving a life threatening quad bike accident with only a 20% chance of survival.

What could have broken her instead became the lens through which she learned what truly matters: connection, perspective and the courage to step fully into who you are.

Kat empowers audiences to navigate challenge, build resilience and act with clarity, integrity and purpose - showing that even in the toughest moments growth, connection and agency are possible.

“This allowed me to reflect on the opportunities I am so grateful to be offered.”

“I strongly recommend this presentation, it is truly inspiring and provides the audience with life long lessons.”

— Lara Hausegger, Sydney Swans AFLW player
